David:- 6 of us had a very hot walk, 2 from Southsea, 2 from Tunbridge Wells, 1 from Northampton, 1 from Bexhill. Thanks to the Southsea 2 for leading us round as they knew the route. Fortuanely a lot of the walk was in woods so that gave some shelter. Ian from Northampton was doing 3 walks in 3 days in preparation for a 50. The pub at Stoughton quenced our thirst before a fairly straight route back. In the hurricane picture it is a memorial to Polish Pilot Officer Bolestaw Wtasnowolski who crashed in November 1940.
