Chris:- A Downs walk from East Dean taking in Friston Forest, Cuckmere Haven, The Seven Sisters, Birling Gap and valley bottoms.17 hardy walkers, led by Steve Hewitt, set off from East Dean in fairly good weather conditions. During the walk the promised wind and rain duly arrived which made for a very testing traverse of The Seven Sisters! After lunch 12 of the group continued in even worse weather conditions but thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.
